It's hard to see Daniel winning a race this year on pure performance. Maybe we can get lucky and see the two Mercedes and two Ferrari's take each other out at the first corner in Monaco :D .

If dreaming is allowed, perhaps we could see the two Mercedes, the two Ferrari's and the two Red Bull's crashing each other in the first corner and then Massa can win in Monaco.

There's always next year Ian, when if the stars and moons align he could be in a red car - he has the right name after all ;)

There are plenty of fans who would like to see that......but will Vettel want Dan as a team-mate again !

Yet to see the Rallycross Peugeots from Spark. As a brand think they have too much of a boner for GT/F1 and feel a bit let down by them. There are a number of other variants of their existing rally mouldings they could make however don't appear very open to suggestions!

I've always found Spark quite responsive to their customers. Why don't you try emailing them directly with some of your suggestions.

I have previously however will give it another go! I'll collect some archive pics and see what they come back with.

I got the feeling they were happier for certain rally versions to be picked up by the Code 3 makers like MAD but am prepared to eat my own words!

The Hansen and Loeb cars were shown on their Facebook page in March/April but have been unable to find those for sale on Ebay or anywhere else for that matter. The Jeanny car you show above appeared a week or so ago. Another big problem in the UK is distribution as Spark withdrew from supplying wholesalers and did a deal with Diecast Legends so apart from the chancers at Trax you are limited as what DL buy in and their pricing!

You won't have to wait much longer. Spark S4383 (Chevrolet Monza GT #75 Le Mans 1976 - M. Keyser & E. Wachs) is due next month.

Don´t know why none of the manufacturers (Spark, IXO, or someone else) did make a Mosler until now - yo get almost every GT race car of the last 20 years, incl. Saleen, Lister, ... - but not the Mosler.
Perhaps it is because Mosler is a defunct company, and therefore Spark cannot obtain permission to model the car? Or maybe, because Mosler was an American manufacturer, TSM would be more likely to model the car?
Is there a particular version / team / race that you would like to see modelled? I'm happy to ask Spark, and report back to the Forum with their answer.
John
UPDATE : Still nothing confirmed yet, but I submitted the idea of releasing a Mosler model to Spark a few months ago. They thought it was a good idea, and passed it on to their development team to access the viability. Fingers crossed.

I agree - it looks great. Just 'slightly' modified!

Strange isn't it. The Chevy Monza was a rather awkward-looking, forgettable road car, but the race versions were stunning.

The transformation from street to racer is utterly amazing! I don't collect cars with numbers so it's not for me but a few others around these parts will be sorely tempted for sure!

Truth be told I would not mind a street version as my Dad had one. But the race car is a must.

Sorry Jeff, no plans for a street version from Spark. As you probably know, Spark are releasing two race versions of the Chevy Monza...
  • S4383 : Chevrolet Monza GT #75 Le Mans 1976 (M. Keyser & E. Wachs)
  • S0860 : Chevrolet Monza #14 IMSA Champion 1976 (A. Holbert)
Both have the low ducktail style rear spoiler, not the high wing as shown above, but I'm OK with that, as that's how I remember seeing them race here in New Zealand. I remember watching these cars race in the 1970's and thinking they were so futuristic and sophisticated compared to the homebuilt local cars in the sports sedan class.

As a rally fan I look at that Ring 24Hr list with envy. Number wise there's probably more in that one list than the total number of rally cars they have modelled..

Unfortunately no, as a Spark Distributor we don't know exactly what models will be released over the coming months. We can make an educated guess, just like you, based upon information on the Spark website & Facebook page, and from the estimated release dates on the order forms sent to us from Spark. However these estimated dates change regularly, and are not always accurate.

Don't get me wrong, Spark is a very well organised company (and by far our best supplier to deal with), but not even they can be 100% accurate about release dates.

Spark sends out order forms to Distributors every couple of weeks, and we have to estimate demand, and place our orders sometimes a year or more before the model becomes available. We only find out exactly what models we are going to receive each month when we get sent an invoice. That invoice lists everything that is ready to be shipped, and once paid, those models arrive about a week later. So that's really the only notice we have of confirmed releases.

Even my comment earlier in this thread, saying that Spark S4383 (Chevrolet Monza GT #75 Le Mans 1976 - M. Keyser & E. Wachs) being due next month, is only an estimate. Until we receive an invoice from Spark saying that it is ready to dispatch, we can't be 100% certain.
