As I'd hoped, Ixo has announced the Jaguar Collection models as general releases. This may be news to me only, though...

Pity they chose red for the XJ-S, would've loved the PW blue. Still very nice though.

Of course red was the Jag publicity colour for the original but I agree it would have been better to see the blue as standard. I wonder if we will see a price drop and a few more PW blue XJ-S come on to the market?

Who knows? Several recent PW series have been dumped on the market without the booklets, currently the Maserati series but the Volvo and Saab Collections, Mercedes, 2CV and Opel Collections were other recent examples. I certainly hope the Jaguar Collection will be next, but on past experience the general release Ixo, T9 and PX versions will be invariably nicer. How much nicer will vary between models.

There is no XJ6 Series 2 in the Jaguar collection, so thats a new one .
Hopefully they will be out soon because im sickof getting out bid on the XJS and XJ12C models . I bid £55 on the XJ12C and £32 on an XJS yesterday and didnt win either....bloody crazy

What I've done with a few PW Le Mans cars is keep the body of the PW model, but swap over the nicer wheels and more detailed interior of a regular IXO. Maybe you could do the same with the Jaguar ?

Hmmmm, a distinct lack of racing Alfa Romeos after the last few years.

What happened to 1970 Sebring 2nd place Porsche 908 with Steve McQueen driver figurine promised already 2-3 years ago!? I guess I should feel lucky I have the one without driver.

Thanks for the download links John. I can feel a shopping list coming on! it's a long way for a parcel to travel from NZ though :?

It may be a long way, however our prices are good, and our shipping rates are pretty competitive. Check them out ... https://www.spr-models.co.nz/informatio ... &-handling

John, I will now look into this in much more detail. I'm not promising a large order but will certainly be considering SPR in the coming months. :)

I'll vouch for John's great service too. Easily the best option I found when I was based in Dubai, and even better now that I'm back in Australia.
