Porsche was selling limited edition models from their Rothmans and Pink Pig GTE cars at their official shop in Le Mans.
1:43, Produced by Spark and only available at Le Mans. Not even in the Porsche museum.

They came in a special collectors packaging, which had a picture on the back of the original pink pig and 962.
Price was 65€ per model.

Decided to buy both as an investment. (Still buying the standard Spark release later)
The only thing what is missing from the race version are the total decals they told me.

Image
Only other difference is the front splitters are colour coordinated instead of black. Couldn't face the always-giant queue to get into the Porsche shop! Will definitely be ordering the standard release Piggy.

BEDFORD TRANSPORTER TEAM LOTUS 1963-1967

Well, I'm not entirely sure, but there are rumors. Promise to go on sale in July.
It looks like "Spark" is on the verge - of another major product line of Team Lotus buses. Have you ever seen anything like it?
Us usual Spark’s website talks about as much as a fish. :D

It should be quite popular.

I saw it on their FB page and also on their recently-new Instagram account. It is true, my friends, it is true... :D

I should be getting one before it rapidly sells like hotcakes.

Where did you get the information that it goes on sale in July? I think it's going to take a lot more time than that before it goes available on stores.

Interestingly the Bedford transporter in this picture seems to be 1/18. If I am not mistaken, Spark only announced in 1/43 scale. Maybe it's just the photography perspective.

EDIT: Yes, I was wrong. The model in the model is no doubt in 1/43 scale.

Of course, in July, only pre-order starts. Sales will begin around October. At least - the Japanese for example. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10542699

Based on past experience, I would say all of them. Spark already have the molds for all of them except the Dallara's, which are still pending from the 2017 race as its was a completely new car.

Grand Prix Models have suggested in their weekly newsletter that the 2018 BMW's will be produced by Minichamps.

Highly disappointing, Spark is no longer releasing annual catalogs featuring future products. They will now be releasing a quarterly catalog of existing and soon-to be released items. By the time you see it, it's probably obsolete news, just like their website and newsletter. As frustrating as it might have been to wait 2-3 years for a release to come out, it was still very exciting to me to see what was planned for the future. Sooner or later everything on my wishlist made it to market (unlike with Ixo, for example.) Sad that I'll no longer enjoy that child-like anticipation.

Well, I think it's better than having nothing at all.

I also think it's an honest attitude to show only models that are really going to see the light of the day in the near term. I've been waiting for Minichamps to release the '75 Mclaren M23 for years. At least Spark is not promissing anything so long before it finally goes to production.

As long as they keep the pace of releasing the catalogue every 3 months, I'm okay with that.

I'm with Phil. I liked knowing what was in the pipeline, even if it was 2 -3 years away as it allowed me to plan my collection and prioritize purchases. Particularly when there were so many Porsche 934 / 935 / 956 / 962 variations being released where it was impossible to buy all of them, it was good to be able to choose which to get and which to let go in advance rather than just making spontaneous purchases (though I often still did that too after seeing a model here !).

I've been waiting for Minichamps to release the '75 Mclaren M23 for years.
It could still appear. I pre-ordered a Minichamps IMSA Porsche 962 in February 2005. It was delivered in January 2016. To the dealer's credit they adhered to their promise to charge the offer price as per the date of the pre-order.

That would be my suggestion as well. I think there is a weirdish licensing agreement between BMW and Minichamps, but it is not fully strict. For instance for the DTM and N24 the BMW's are also announced by Minichamps and not by Spark. For some reason, only Spark has released the actual models for the 2017 N24 event and they even announced a couple of BMW's from the 2018 event.

My only gripes with Minichamps doing the BMW's is we're unlikely to see them until 2020, and they'll cost 30% more than the Sparks. Given they finished 11th and 16th in GTE Pro, I'm thinking of skipping them anyway and hope that they perform better next year.

Ha ha, yes that very one, the one that now accepts pre-orders for a standard Spark release at a higher price than anybody else I know about, AND who will offer on eBay Le Mans winners and others at prices reaching £200. I haven't used them for some years now.

With regard to the recent Spark catalogue, it is of very little value. I found nothing in it that I hadn't read about on here or elsewhere. I miss the January/February catalogue, or perhaps more correctly Spark's 'list of possible forthcoming models'. The majority of models featured eventually hit the shelves, but some never did. I have a list of those that were shown for up to six consecutive years and then nothing. My list is useful as some webshops don't update and still persist upon showing them as 'forthcoming'. They're never going to be seen now.

I therefore wonder how many from the 2017 catalogue will go the same way and whether dispensing with it (as we knew it) is Spark's method of allowing more models to be forgotten. A Rondeau from Le Mans 1982 had been in the catalogue since 2015. Three Le Mans 1988 Spice and four Corvettes from Le Mans 1995 that also featured from 2015 through to 2017 are further examples. There are others.

And finally, and I know the reason why (it didn't start the race), it's annoying that only the #39 and #41 McLaren F1 GTRs from 1997 have been released leaving me with the Minichamps #40 alongside.
