I've been waiting for the Matmut 908. Wonderful livery and
spectacular DNF if I recall correctly. And 40% of the cost of a Spark.
Now where is my Saleen S7R 2010 GT1 champ???

They look really good from here, I am glad IXO makes a lower priced alternative.

Gee thanks a lot for posting that Peugeot and causing my hand to click links on my computer and order a car over my budget. I blame society.

The Worst Self-Help group in the world.

First step - admitting you have a problem.

Yeah, I got a problem. Not enough CASH!!!!

The 12 steps of Scale143 Self Help
1. We admitted we were powerless over cars —that our collection had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that scale143 was greater than ourselves and could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of resin and diecast as we understood them.
4. Made a searching and fearless detailed inventory of our collection.
5. Admitted to JSB33, to scalainj, and to Mark Fothergill the exact nature of our themes.
6. Were entirely ready to have superglue remove all the defects of our models.
7. Humbly asked our female counterparts to remove our restricting budgets.
8. Made a list of all cars we didn't have, and became willing to hunt down them all.
9. Made direct feedback to good ebayers wherever possible, except when to do so would cause them to have bad ratings.
10. Continued to take inventory of our collection and when we were astounded by the amount we had spent promptly called our insurance agent.
11. Sought through posting and good picture taking to improve our conscious contact with scale143 as we understood it, hoping only for knowledge of hot preorders and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a 1:43 awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to collectors, and to sell off our 1:18's as fast as possible.

How true!

I know that this place has been responsible for moving a lot of 1:43 stock but I think it has had its share of moving 1:182 as well.
Mt sell off continues and I don't think I am alone.

The #4 Peugeot has a reserved space in my collection too but having 1 Spark and 1 Ixo 908 right now, I had decided on the Spark model.

I owned own of these by Models of Yesteryear when I was about 10 - don't collect this theme now, but what a lovely, detailed model for IXO money!

I'm guessing Julio will fancy this?

Ixo have just added their 2011 yearbook to their web site. An expensive year for LM and Skoda lovers :) Also The Ken Done and Michael Jagamara Nelson Art Cars as well as some nice additions to the Museum Series (Daimler Double Six 50 anyone, Auburn Boat Tail Speedster, Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow).

Mind you they also have the Three WRC Champ cars for 85-87 and the Teesdale 6R4 that I was told were coming Three years ago, so patience may be required :D

Cheers

I really like their Museum cars. It's good value for the money, and they're covering models that others have not in recent years. I have the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B in red/cream, and the chrome treatment in particular is very impressive for the price.

I see a lot of rally cars I'd like to add - especially the Modern Rally Car series Grönholm & Solberg cars.

Unfortunately, 47 of the rally cars from the 2010 yearbook are still in the 2011 so I won't be getting my hopes up.

I hope IXO makes all Art cars. They are certainly overdue in 1/43.
