I like the Citroen Rally Mexico that Spark has come out with, but maybe I'll wait til IXO comes out with their version. Spark is great, but IXO is good enough.
@ different models. Ixo is the 2010 car (C4 WRC) Spark is the 2011 winner (DS3).

Is the rear stripe right as opposed to the Spark version?
My target-locked-on here! It would be nice to add a representative from the legendary Group B rally car era; this one should do the job!!! :o I've seen a 360-degree view animated photo of this car at Diecast Legends website and my first impression of it is that it has the quality of Minichamps less the use of water slide decals! (Just my opinion... )

--- --- ---

Image

I believe IXO did it right... The photo of this 1:1 car looks like it is from 1986. The 1:43 IXO model is from 1985... But I see no reason why there'll be a difference in the branding stripes / color scheme of Peugeot in just one year... IXO's application and this 1:1 photo is a match! :geek:

--- --- ---

Below is the model from Spark:

Image

If you compare so with Spark, then it looks to me that Spark got it wrong... :(
Whenever or whoever you go to, to do shopping 1:43 scale models on EBay... DO NOT BUY FROM WLTOYBOY

Yes the one here is different, but I was saying that IXO will make the same one in the future.

I've just bought a couple of Ixos to test the water so to speak.

I hope so, getting all the different roof schemes could be a bit expensive at Spark prices.

I can't wait for your review Andy, it would be nice if we could get some good models at reasonable cost. Most of the Ixo's that I have are pretty good but some are a waste of money too.

Looks a good bunch of cars to me. I still get drawn into paying for Spark too often, but really IXO would be good enough for my liking a lot of the time. They mostly look absolutely fine on display. Like Jeff, I wonder about the 917s. The cross body stripe is still missing on the '70, as per every version except Spark. '71 car is interesting though.

Nice, I don't think I have ever before seen modelcars about Daihatsu. Would like to see Daihatsu Charade, Applause and Sirion in 1/43 :)

I have a Daihatsu Copen by J-Collection...I actually regret buying it, good model, just a car that does NOT fit my collection!

I am with Lee would love a DeHaitsuTomaso  These were cool little cars, never sold in the US but I've seen photos of some in Canada, a tiny, tiny car and old enough to be imported to the US now without any regulations...but this is a 1:43 board, not 1:1 :P

The only problem with the DAIHATSU HIJET vans is that they're made by Kyosho, not Ixo.

The ones I have and seen in shops all had the Kyosho logo on the box. Garyboy lists them as Kyoshos as well.

I like the Daihatsu HiJet vans and I certianly don't have a problem with Kyosho's quality.

Saw those at carmodel.net just now. Looks like the prototype Countaches' window etchings have some gaps in them. Have to see them in person to be sure. Strati look good. What do you guys think about the Zeros? I'm sure they aren't as good as the HPI's, but are they accurate?
