Re: Greenlight 2014
Cool, look forward to seeing this thread grow. Only have a single 43rd Greenlight in my collection so far (as far as I remember) and I love it, it is the metallic Green Jeep Rubicon.

Matt , we need more Ford`s....lots of Ford`s
Your 2015 Transit model is great , and fantastic value.....do you plan on doing any of the newly released Transit Connect or regular Transits ?

I like the Connect and will get one, perhaps as a S143 shop truck
But my tail is wagging for the 1966 Suburban, one of my all time favorite trucks.

Jeep Wranglers seem to be the flavour of the day in numerous guises and wouldn't mind adding maybe one or two to join my green one I already have BUT I'd have to see pics 1st

Re: Greenlight 2014
Just make sure you do the Suburban first, I would like it by next Friday in blue if possiblegreenlt_prod wrote:Thanks to Vadim for posting this list. I'll respond to everyone's comments individually.

I hope it does really well for you and that it will lead to more 60's American trucks, a very under served part of 1:43. Early 60's Ford Pickups come to mind as does Power Wagons.
A first gen Econoline and Dodge A100 would be sweet to.
Would love to see Greenlights take on these in 1:43 after seeing what you have done with the Transits.
And I will be getting a Challenger, I have wanted one for a long time but didn't want to pay the price of a Minichamps. Is there a possibility of movie themed cars being done later as regular cars?
I would have to think so.
And anytime you can show a sneak peak at tooling, it would be great. We are really good at constructive criticism without all the hyperbole of how you have ruined our life because the color is not the same that we remembered from 40 years ago

The Fast and Furious cars sound great and are something I would consider. Do you have any pictures of them yet?

Their web site does not even have a pre-order info on the Suburban yet. I will probably be getting that one as it seems to be very popular, and I like it myself.

I agree, pickups of American variety in 1:43 are very under represented. We are excited about the Suburban, can't wait to get a test shot to show you all.
Getting the movie themed cars later as street cars is almost certain to happen. I don't have the models, colors, dates, etc. but you can bet most of the ones used for Hollywood themes will eventually show up as a street car version.
Thanks,
Matt

Yes, we have posted most of them on our facebook page but I'll add a choice few here. Not sure of my attachment size limits, etc.thetrooper wrote:The Fast and Furious cars sound great and are something I would consider. Do you have any pictures of them yet?

Re: Greenlight 2014
I think I will have a new theme starting as they do look good.
I've just been searching and getting them in the UK seems a bit difficult. I think my only hope is a shop in Holland. I tell you now I will complete the set one way or another.

American 70s vans are just non-existent. You can be the one! Make it happen.

Re: Greenlight 2014
Some of these are certainly amazing in their own right aren't they? The vans themselves are good, something we have in 1:64 that does quite well (both a Chevy and a Dodge 70's van). We've considered this in other scales. What does everyone think?sheepCrusher wrote:American 70s vans are just non-existent. You can be the one! Make it happen.
As far as the far out graphics, that tough. Some of them are good but it limits the appeal as it's usually a "love it or hate it" with most people who see them. We'd have to pick carefully.
Thanks for the feedback!

I say lots of 1:43 Vans would be most welcome here. My first pick would be the first gen Econoline but any of them would be met with waiting arms.

Re: Greenlight 2014
I agree; a Chevy Corvair, perhaps a Greenbriar, would be good too. The customised vans are interesting, but I agree the appeal would be too limited - you would always have produced the wrong one even for the enthusiastsJSB33 wrote:I say lots of 1:43 Vans would be most welcome here. I'll take every one of those vans. I have most of the vans Hwy61 made in 1/18.
How about releasing a '79 GMC/Chevy SWB van in a kit form where you could apply provided decals and custom rims, wings...
