Ixo has now introduced a two-axle trailer. Not as good as the MC but nice enough for the van/car sets. Unfortunately it's a bit spendy at 30 euros.

Ixo Twin wheel car trailer

Its good to see that Ixo have now released the car trailer that was previously only available with PW sets. Its pretty basic but it looks the part behind a service van with a car loaded on it . As Tom pointed out, its nowhere near as detailed as the Minichamps trailer , but its more period correct for 70s & 80s rally cars and its considerably cheaper than the MC trailer.

I like that trailer for the reasons mentioned. Nice and basic.

The web shop that gives you the highest discount, I imagine... price is around 30 euros which I think is a little on the high side given the simplicity of the model.

I agree Tom. Thats lumpy for what is a nice but basic trailer. I guess what they lose on the service vans they make up elsewhere!

John at SPR has said he's going to try and get me a few of these. Will be interesting to compare his price to those from Europe.

Ixo / Altaya Citroen Jumper and enclosed trailer - Citroen World Rally Team

This is the recently released Citroen Jumper and enclosed car trailer from the new French parts works collection of rally assistance vehicles . Its pretty nicely done even though the trailer is completely plastic .

Trailer looks fantastic if a little 'nude'. I hope this follows the original.

Interesting to see in that picture that the van has no livery either. Maybe it was pre-season testing ? Whatever the reason, maybe the trailer got a livery when the van received its livery?

Edit.....another picture. Liveried van but still no livery on the trailer, so if nothing else its consistent with this picture.

Not quite yet Paul, but if Ixo keeps churning them out like they have been, then who knows :D

The trailer is nicely done, despite being all plastic . Im wondering if Ixo might turn these out as an individual trailer as im sure theyd sell well . Im sure you dont need a trailer to hide away in Martin :D

Ixo Fiat 242 Service van – Esso Grifone

Another new release from Ixo and another Fiat 242 , this time from the Grifone team from Italy. It was used in 1986 with the Delta S4 and in 1987 with the Integrale .

I'm keeping it to one single car and trailer. These are really tempting but a complete set is far from cheap... like it a lot though.
