British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

I have yet to add the latest XJ and may have resort to the IXO. I'd hoped that by now they'd have produced one in a more interesting colour but there you go, beggars etc,...

Oh, and watch this space,,,,

Thanks Gary. I have had the opportunity to drive one recently and really enjoyed it. However, I was more smitten by the Range Rover Evoque. Both ultimately lost out however to a new Toyota truck. :D

They are affiliated with ArtCraftModel which advertised the same thing in an email I received today. While it would have been nice to have a different color variation, unfortunately, the shipping charge was 35 Euro, so I passed. Perhaps someone will introduce an updated version of the Jaguar range as these (2011) versions are getting a bit dated.

1965 Jaguar 3.8S - Spot-On: While considered toys by many today, these Spot-On models for a child of the fifties and early sixties were the Spark, Looksmart and TSM of their day. Made in N. Ireland, home of family, so connection for me there too. Like Dinky and Corgi's, they have a patina and charm of their own which I don't get the same feeling for with precise resin made models of today. This mildly playworn example of the 3.8S is in the same dark blue as our 1:1 example.
