Ur quattro and nothing but ur quattro

Post by scalainj » Thu Feb 11, 2010 11:10 am

These are my long wheel base ur quattro rally liveried models that i have on display. Its about half my collection excluding Sport quattros and the Ur quattro road cars

Left to right is 1981, 1982, 1983 & 1984 and you see if your a geek like me the car evolving from its initial Group 4 status all the way through to Group B A2 before it was replaced by the Sport in 1985.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Quality 8-) Im still looking for the Malcolm Wilson car for a reasonable price. Love the Per Eklund 1000 Lakes A2 aswell.
I'm not addicted to models, an addict admits their problems & I don't have a problem.

1982 Lombard RAC #17 Gr4 David Sutton Audi Sport (UK) run, Mike Greasly co-driver off the top of my head i think they finished 10th overall.

Well strictly speaking it can go into the one of the 2 quattro display cabinets :o
Next to all the others, some rare, some not so

Not a 10 year car as i'm pretty sure they don't exist but i've got a lead on another rarity :)
