Hi Bluesteel66 - Thanks for your comments. Sounds like you’re a big Professionals fan also and slightly jealous you had a 3.0S ! I had a 3.0 Ghia but was automatic, nevertheless I dearly miss it. They’ll never be able to make anything like the series again, they did try with the New Professionals but not the same – I think if they could’ve got Lewis Collins to do the New Professionals it would’ve been a much bigger hit. And of course it was about the cars for me rather than all the politics - I didn’t know what politics were when I was a kid! But I knew what a fast Ford was

Tom - you think the figures look ok then ? I will do some more at some point but enjoy creating the cars and scenes more.

I've not watched any of the series since the repeats in the 1980s but to me the figurines look great and they make the scenes come to life, look more credible.

So just finished creating Doyle’s X-Pack Capri. Here are a few previews before I carry on with the diorama base. I never want to work with another Neo model again. Everything is so thin, brittle and delicate, every time I worked on it, my heart was in my mouth. Being all resin and photo etched it was not the best full de-construct and reassemble. I had to replace rear spoiler with a Minichamps one, replace rear parcel shelf again with MC, repair both bumpers, repair one door card, on top of that do vinyl roof, decals and respray. Overall, about 80% pleased as a couple of wonky bits and blemishes but it wasn’t easy and not that enjoyable
