Post by Galaxy Gaz » Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:54 pm

Porsche 934 RSR - #82 24h Le Mans 1979 - Müller, Pallavicini, Vanoli

I said I would try to do some comparison pics between the Premium X and Spark versions of car.

You can make your own minds up ;)

Spark looks sharper, but someone got it miserably wrong with the front bumper.

Interesting comparison Gary.

As Bruno noted, I think the black front spoiler on the Premium X is wrong. Almost every picture shows a white spoiler, which became progressively dirtier as the race wore on.

I'm also not crazy about the large treaded tyres on the Premium X, but as it was very wet they would have run 'full wets' for part of the race, so I can overlook that.

Perhaps the biggest issue for me if the height of the front wings on the Premium X (which is compounded by the high ride high and oversized tyres). I know the Premium X is a lot cheaper, but that shouldn't affect the overall shape.

Black front spoiler is unfortunate. I can live with the rest.

Nobody noticed the size? One of them is out of scale.

Yes I did. I'm guessing is the Premium X that's out of scale, but Gary need to get his calipers out and confirm this.

I have the feeling that the Spark is too big...

How can that be.....the Premium X (on the left) is bigger than the Spark (on the right) ? ? ?

True. If the PX is on the left, it's bigger than it's supposed to be.
Or the Spark is too small... BUT those humongous wheel flairs on the PX look like they belong on a RSR.
