chevy impala 1963/64 best brand
Ok so went to a real size american carshow today, figure i need an impala in my cabinet now.
Looks like its 63/64 that caught my eye, ertl/american muscle seems to be about it available yes?
Else 1/18 ertl might checkout DM FM 1/24.
Edit, FM does a crisp 1/24 as long as I want silver..geez price us up there for anything not silver.

I think the best one were the 1:24 West Coast Precision Diecast (WCPD) versions.

I had the silver FM, it was not bad but its an old one with old tech.

In 43rd scale Brooklin makes a nice 61 (affordable), Motor city makes a 62 (very pricey), UH makes a 63 (Affordable), don't recall seeing a 64 and Sabra makes a 65 (somewhat pricey).

I looked up on my shelf and I had (3) 1964 Impalas made by American Muscle. Duh! Sorry I'm getting old.43rdMuscle wrote:In 43rd scale Brooklin makes a nice 61 (affordable), Motor city makes au 62 (very pricey), UH makes a 63 (Affordable), don't recall seeing a 64 and Sabra makes a 65 (somewhat pricey).

Those WCPD ones are pretty tempting. I see the factory seconds on ebay..white/red/yellow/light metallic green hard choice
I stumbled across a pair of 1/43 Ertl/ AM black and blue on our local site so waiting to see if the low start bid means I succeed.
Is 1/18 AM one cheap but budget brand in large scale can look naff.
1964 is the year that floats me boat most..'63 a close second

Got me the two impalas for pocket money. Fingers crossed the detail is passable.
Anyone had any firsthand with the factory second WCPD being peddled on ebay?
