Model Shops in Athens

Post by Jager » Fri Aug 23, 2019 9:55 pm

Just wondering if any of our European members have any recommendations for model shops in Athens. I've seen a few Greek sellers on eBay over the years with good prices, so I'm keen to see what might be lurking there.

Best I've found so far is a reference to Fasmamodels from an old Tripadvisor thread 7 years ago:

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump as I'll be in Athens next week.

Thanks Lee. I did think of that but unfortunately he hasn't been online since 15 May 2019. I did send him a PM anyway, but so far no response.

Would anyone have an email adress for him ?

With a little help from google maps, Fasma models in Athens proved very easy to find. It is a general model shop, with a lot more plastic kits than diecast:

They did however have a small selection of Maxichamps models for Euro 30 each:

….as well as a selection of part works models for Euro 8 - 12 each:

Most of the diecast however was 1:18 rather than 1:43. Unfortunately there were no Spark or other modern resin brands.
