The "I found a steal on eBay that I dont want" thread
Once in a while, we stumble upon good prices or low auctions that we don't want to get for one reason or another but we could help fellow collectors on the forum by simply pointing them out. I would make one separate thread each but a putting them together will hopefully make it more active.
I'll make the first contribution:
Ebbro 70's Honda Accord for $20
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-43-Honda-Acco ... 2a27f1d153
Good prices for Ebbro models in the U.S are few and far between. I would have it but it has been a long and tiring day of buying (lol).

Excellent, un-selfish idea my friend! I almost like the Accord but trust it will serve someone else even better.
Will be fun to see what we come up with here?

Yeah, I think it will be quite successful (but also quite painful in the pocket for some of us).GarageOnAWall wrote:Excellent, un-selfish idea my friend! I almost like the Accord but trust it will serve someone else even better.

Here is a BMW dealer selling an M1 Procar for $35 shipped (He doesn't know that Minichamps makes it and is selling for much less than going rate but people looking cant find it due to listing):

My guess is he just has too much inventory in the dealership that isn't selling through. Just wants to unload it.blue2fire wrote: Yeah, I think it will be quite successful (but also quite painful in the pocket for some of us).

Great idea for this thread, I'm constantly running into bargains for items I either already have or don't fit my collecting needs.

This is a very bad idea... I just bought that M1
Thanks for posting the link. This model's been on my wish list way too long.

I heard about that one Jeff...thought the green better for Season, although red will work tooJSB33 wrote:Just got one of these in green, they are really nice for that money.

I'm adding a link to a GREAT deal on a Spark! I'd be all over this and several OTHER 1:43s this seller has too IF I didn't already have the ones I like.
Take a look - only 5 hours left in the auctions, so better move quick if interested (and NO, this is NOT me even though in the same state

Congrats Julio! Thanks for the heads up, BB!
Happy to have helped - you're going to love it the Bizzarrini, and at a price that's at least 1/2 of what most of us paid

I thought about the MINI Marcos, but hesitated since I've yet to buy a car almost 2 weeks into 2013, thought I better not start now unless it's essential.
This is a fun and helpful thread, let's keep them coming...

I wanted that Bizzarrini ever since I first saw photos of that model (and of its silver sibling), here at S143. Was it Tom's, or maybe Jeff's? But, I always ended getting other models. Now, at such low price, I just couldn't let it go. This is my first Bizzarrini!

The Alfa was more of an impulse buying kind of thing. All the photos that I've seen of that Junior by Spark, seem to make that model look rather boring. But, knowing how nice Spark models are, and knowing that I'll love it when I finally have it in my hands, I just couldn't ignore it. Not at the bargain price of $19.99!
These are my first two models for 2013, and I might get into a group buy next week. But, I'm also being cautious with my model acquisitions this year...

Congratulations Julio, that really is a bargain. I notice the seller doesn't sell to the UK - I don't think I've encountered this before and I must say I'm a little hurt.DeadCanDanceR wrote:

An old Minichamps Dealer Edition Porsche 911 GT1 1998 for $10 BIN seems good value:

Re: The "I found a steal on eBay that I dont want" thread
Interesting. I have the same dealer edition model and mine's the "black window" version without an interior. Wonder if it's a different WAP number or just a later batch? I'd go for it to upgrade at that price but I suppose if it really mean anything to me to upgrade I'd be looking for the HPI. Nice find, odd that it didn't show up on my running "minichamps porsche" saved search.
