Odd is the key word here I think. I still find eBay searches a mystery.

Congratulations Julio, that really is a bargain. I notice the seller doesn't sell to the UK - I don't think I've encountered this before and I must say I'm a little hurt. :(
Thanks, Bert! ;)

About shipping to the UK... Many times it's just a matter of writing to the sellers to find a way for them to ship to your country. I've done it before. ;)

philsaunders wrote:Interesting. I have the same dealer edition model and mine's the "black window" version without an interior. Wonder if it's a different WAP number or just a later batch? I'd go for it to upgrade at that price but I suppose if it really mean anything to me to upgrade I'd be looking for the HPI. Nice find, odd that it didn't show up on my running "minichamps porsche" saved search.
Well according to the Porsche Model Club, the WAP no. is the same, but there are 3 variations of this model: Black Window, Black Window with antenna, and clear window: http://www.porsche-model-club-asia.com/ ... &showall=y

Same here, I have a couple of the HPI 911 GT1s, otherwise I would have been all over this. It probably didn't show up in your search as it doesn't have 'minichamps' in the title, and even in the description it is listed as a 'mini champs'.

"minichamps porsche" saved search
Who would've guessed you do this :P

I'd guess most of us have a long list of daily searches, it's either clever or insane, I haven't decided yet

Thanks for posting this, I might send along an offer. That is quite cool (and a reasonable price, looks like) but I really want their Z4. I think $130 for that is just pushing it though.

Not sure what the going rate for this set is but this seems cheap.
For overseas buyers i can pick this up locally and send it on as this is 5 minutes from my house.

Minichamps 1982 LM Porsche 956 3 car set.

Thanks, on it.

If someone here wants it, I'll be happy to stop bidding, I don't absolutely need it.

Word of warning that it is the nannied version with "racing" in place of "Rothmans." I wish they'd just leave it off altogether like HPI does so at least you could add your own decals without too much trouble.

That said, matching decals are hard to find.

Ahh, But which nannied version as I thought a lot of these (or was it just the single car issues) were recalled and the Nanny stickers were just placed over the offensive ones, making it a simple enough job to correct your livery.

Lars, I will try to break it down...

1. Open square bracket
2. Type 'URL=' and paste in the link (no spaces)
3. Close square bracket
4. Type the words you want to be 'blue'
5. Finish with /URL set within another pair of square brackets

Hope that makes sense. Difficult to give an example without it getting confusing!

I seen this and thought it really cheap for what it is. I know there are some Brumos fans on here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-G ... 53f252066d

The seller seems to have a lot of bargains. I've read he's a good seller as well from members on another forum that use him a lot.

One could make a career out of posting deals on partwork models.
