The ride height looked off in the marketing pics and unfortunately it is the case when held in the hand (which for a £90 Matrix model is disappointing) but as the only available version of the Ford GT40 MKIII, it was coming home with me regardless.....

I have a tiny bit of buyers remorse as I hadn't spotted the blue Matrix was a left hooker and the red Matrix a right hooker with an opened side window but i'll get over that.

I especially like the job they've done on the wire wheels. I could use a few sets of those to improve some other models! :D Nice add!

That is rather nice. Definitely want one ride height issues or not

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

I didn't see anything wrong with the ride height; now I do - thanks for pointing that out! :? What did annoy me was that all the tyres had the logos at the bottom as yours appears to have. I had to dismantle mine and move the wheels round to get them in the 'right' position.

I'm not really bothered about LHD or RHD but the red one does look really nice, it's just that I always picture this car in blue.

You might want to look at the ride height of one of the road cars and see if they were higher than the race cars. It would make a certain amount of sense to give a bit more ground clearance. Sacrifice a bit of handling for better ride and not taking out the exhaust system on any surface not as smooth as a race track.

I looked at photos of the road cars and they were lower than Matrix has modelled
