That's been tempting me for a while too. Great shape.

Thanks Tom, I've been eyeballing it for ages and when Merge Left had one in auction, I bid and won!

Love the shape, love the colour, just not the silver brightwork.

In hand the brightwork isn't bad. When I am next using Liquid Chrome I will shine up the bumpers and door handles only. The wheel discs and other bits wouldn't look right being over shiny.
Ideally, I would have preferred the Matrix model but BoS @ £11 it was a nobrainer.

David

There is a strange elegance to that car, especially for 1951.

It's the not-so-brightwork that lets down both the Lanica and the Bentley though I do like the Bentley better in this colour than the Matrix BRG. It'll be interesting to see how much difference the liquid chrome makes.

Lancia looks specially nice. I got one in my hands when I visited St Martin´s Models with Will, Andy and Ian. I could not buy it as I was advised previously that it was going to be one of my Christmas presents...

I still prefer my BRG Matrix Facel Bentley as it is the model I've always knew, but I think BoS did the same good job.

The Iso Targa is also a cracker.

The Lancia looks nice. But... Neo's have doubled in price since their launch, and instead of better detailing, we get printed windows?

Marcel, window frames are etched. It's just my photography that makes them look tampo printed!

You do manage to dig up all sorts of obscure cars David. The last 4 are all top notch.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.
