The '51 really shows the loss of glamour after a world war and the distant war drums banging again when comparing it to the '41.

I have that Neo Chevy Woody and its really cool. Congrats David!!
Thanks, Keko, I suspected you might!

This will be next, although I would like it in another colourway to contrast with the 1941 Deluxe.

I also would like that Chevy in another color. Knowing Neo, very soon we'll have it.

Not that coherent a conversion (especially around the C-pillar), but a must-have for your collection and a really nicely made model.

Tom, I agree. The C pillar could have been made more slender, unless it was structural requirement.
However, I prefer the silver blue over the yellow version of this model and the price was right!

Agree, blue looks very fitting. And as a shooting brake aficionado this should be in your collection.

The colour does seem right for this car/model. Was the 1:1 a one-off, or if you had the means coukd you order one?

That explains the awkward angle of the tailgate vs the C-pillar.

I think maybe the filler caps had to be re-sited from the top plane of the boot area didn't help.quote=Alfaholic post_id=354795 time=1514800307 user_id=21643]

Maserati 3500GT - NEO

I had forgotten I had bought this. It was Keko's posting of the two tone that reminded me. Here is a compo shot. I prefer the monotone one for it's ability to show off the lines of the car.

Put me down as well as a fan of the monotone. I like the simplicity.

I have the grey version and must say it compares very well to the likes of the much more expensive BBR models. The monotone hue does make it easier to appreciate the shape while the wheels of the blue one let that version down; they definitely aren't up to BBR standards.

What makes you think I will like this one David - apart from the fact that it is an Alfa Romeo, it’s red and it’s BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

The Alfa is really superb. I think Kess is improving their models little by little. The grey Neo 3500 GT is also superb, but I prefer my white over blue...
