That’s more like it David - wonderful.

The prices of these Look Smarts are starting to get out of hand though, especially as they seem to gain value on the long journey to this part of the world :?

I bought mine back in the mid 80s, at Dannhausen (in Aachen), when I was living in Germany! It’s remained one of my favourite models ever since! 8-)

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

Didn’t realise until I was looking at other Airstreams how expensive these are. Nothing available under a ton on eBay!

Oh, that it were. I no longer drive! I have a combination of arthritis in both knees and my left (gear changing) arm is semi kaput

A beautiful concept car. Built by Jaguar prior to the Tata takeover. I suspect it is now kept in the Jaguar Heritage Collection. It was a very impressive sight when I saw it on display at a Classic Car Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

If you had enough money there are still plenty of donor cars around to have the roof lopped off. Too many regulations and engineering requirements for it to pass as a fully roadworthy conversion.

I remember reading an article about the Corsica Concept. It was not all it seems and was only ever a mock up. Barely drivable with a very small engine sufficient to get it off a trailer and onto a motor show stand. It was a marvellous attempt at what could have been.

Perhaps when Jaguar/Land Rover have run out of C-Types, D-Types and E-Types to 'Re-Create' they might consider doing a small run of properly engineered Corsica for those who have the money. A pukka civilised road version of the XJR-15 and CX-75 would be nice too.

I'll second that!

The body was designed by Gene Garfinkle but I think he was cribbing heavily off Pininfarina's work of the 60/70s.

There's a hint of just about everything of that time in it. Still it looks nice, could be a Monteverdi.

Fiat 130 Coupe and RR Camargue (side), Pininfarina Lancia Gamma Coupe (rear), Maserati QPIII (front) and Frua's Monteverdi all seem to be in there. An interesting story.

Like they say "How to make a small fortune. Start off with a big one"! We've all seen such attempts many times over the years, but full marks to various entrepreneurs for trying.

First time I see that one. Very nice, looks classy in a 70's way (but not USA 70's).

The Fiat 130 is what popped into my mind at first, and that’s no bad thing.

Consider today’s educational quota filled - thanks. Nice addition.

Yeah, that’s good. I am trying to stay away from Lancias, but this doesn’t help.
