For my comment on this one, please refer to the word superlative in your thesaurus and add all of the associated words.

Eye-poppingly beautiful.

Looks quite good, though the brightwork could be a little brighter. BTW, I've bought a chrome pen as per your recommendation, so now I can get BoS models too. :)

Tom, practice is required! Painted too thin and it's hardly better than the original. Over flood it and it's got pips in it!
IMHO only the radiator edges (not grill), and bumpers need doing. It will be OTT otherwise.

No worries David, lots of scrap to practice on. I won't try out my skills on an expensive model...

Great models!

I have the Jaguar version of the Fiat and the golden version of that Rolls (I think it looks better in blue, like yours)! The Daimler is quite charming! ;)

Thanks Julio. The Daimler needs some Dockers to go with it!

I'm used to seeing the 'Woodie' effect on station wagons and pick up, but this is the first time I've seen it on cabriolet. It's not a car I'd want in 1:1, but in 1:43.......why not !

I believe the wood is similar to the 1948 Chrysler cabriolet Tom and I saw at the Louwman Museum – not a station wagon or pick up.

David, I do want to like some of your recent posts here, but every time I open this thread I see the Fiat and my jaw drops to the floor again, and I can’t go any further. It is magical. :D
