The first model to present you is a recently released but long-awaiten 1st generation Opel Omega estate. I was stoked to have this model 'cause this was our family vehicle between 2002 and 2005. In this very color! Sadly, I have only one bad pic of it, so enjoy a couple more of these rare but stunning cars.

Then here's another one.

Since the hobby is getting expensive, I've been trying to restrict my collection to only cars that I really, really love. Every piece in my line-up has got to be a copy of 1:1 car that I've met. Here is a hyacinth red E-class that I saw in Berlin last winter. Sorry for the crappy pic but it's obligatory for my presentaion. :D

Very atmospheric pictures. I like the metallic red, an unusual colour for an E.

Excellent start. I have the same red e-klasse that i got in the ck model car sales recently. I’m also jealous of your avatar - what engine is in your 1/1 CLS break?

I wish to shoot every model in it's own little environement to create memorable presentations, at least for me. :)

It was a bargain at 20 EUR, couldn't miss it because...

About that white SB below: I wish it was mine in 1/1. Maybe one day...

Have you ever seen a unicorn in flesh?

I did not intend to buy this model because it is the most expensive and not at all the best in terms of quality among CLS C/X218 models in 1:43. But since it was quite a nice offer and I was the only bidder, the model came at the right place.

My first GLM model and I got to say it looks better in flesh than on photos. With all the great details on one side (photoetched logos, window wipers and wooden floor in the trunk), it has some dissapointing elements like the head lights, tail lights (glasses are too small) and enormous wheels which ruin the stance. However, these flaws are fixable and I may try to change the parts soon.

As I have never met a prefacelift AMG the model had to wear a license plate from my favorite Berlin.

No interest in this GLM model, what about the facelift by Spark?

This dealer version is finished in designo iridum silver magno - the matte variant of one of MB's most popular colors. Sadly, no real car is made in this color as far as I know. What's perplexing too - the hobby version presented here by Adam, was made in brilliant blue which is a non-catalogue color as well but I've found 2 vehicles that exist in it - one AMG and one Final Edition. Anyways, more about these in the future.

I've included shots of real cars in similar color - designo alanite grey magno. ;)

Thats very nice (in fact they both are). I am a big fan of AMG wagons/breaks and have recently bought a 1/1 C43 wagon. I have the blue/purple CLS break by Spark.

C43 must be a real fun car to drive despite that some fanboys call them "non-real" AMGs!

This Norev version in manganit grey magno is sweet. I have the diamond white and cuprite brown hobby version of pre-FL and the obsidian black facelift at the moment.

Now enjoy my favorite CLS SB from my home town that I've met 5 times til this day.

The model received scratch-built roof rails, painted rear diffuser in black (Norev missed this detail on every 1:18 and 1:43 X218 model), swapped wheels from X218 FL to resemble the winter wheels on the real car.

If it's a Shooting Brake, you could advise him to meet me at my page @cls.shootingbrake

Now, another Mercedes.
I met this car in December 2018 on a trip to Berlin. A year later, I went back to Berlin and was lucky that the lovely, cosy shop www.modellautos-budig.de had this very C-class available. I grabbed the model, swapped the wheels when I got back home, I've put the obligatory license plate. Hooray - I have the identical miniature.

I wanted to put the model in the same environement and mood as the pics of the real car. :P

That's exactly what my collection in 1:43 is about! I can't stand a model that doesn't replicate a real car. :)

One of the most beautiful Mercedes of the decade. The CL-class (C216) is one of my favorite models, that's why I've attached pictures of a few nice examples that I've met.
A perfect model from AUTOart in a dealer box. There is a regular version in the same spec. Enjoy this land yacht!
