Some of the ugliest cars to grace the F1 grid and all the better for it. I love them

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

After the Monaco Grand Prix, the high wings were banned and from the fourth world championship round in Zandvoort 1969
all racing cars would have to drive with a flat rear wing ...

Makes you wonder if overtaking would still be as difficult in the modern era of F1 if the cars still had high wings?

I'm more of a sportscar fan these days but there was a day when F1 was my thing. Looking through your very well presented tread has brought back many memories.

I do admire your presentation skills within this thread, something we can all learn from I think.
