Never realised Maser's were right hookers - interesting question.

Prescott Hill Climb
Just finished this SMTS kit to add to the Moss collection, not totally happy with it especially the front grille so might rebuild it. (How many times have we said that?!)

Quirky little racer
These were the go-karts of the 40s & 50s providing entry into the sport for the likes of Moss and Collins and also Messrs Tyrrell & Ecclestone!

Cheap and cheerful upgrade to the collection.

I realised that my otherwise pretty good Quartzo model was incorrectly decalled and had started to look at expensive replacements. However I tried the sellotape rip and the way was clear.

Job done.

Nice job. Did you just put the decals over the top of the old ones, or did you have to strip them first ?

It was only the one on the tonneau cover that I changed the others looked OK. That came off with the sellotape rip trick so it obviously had not been lacquered over. Strange that Quartzo turned out a model so obviously wrong.

Remember that the Vitesse group went bust in 2001, so this is now a +20 year old model. Standards then were probably not the same as today. It's still a good looking model, but having said that it won't take me long to replace my Quartzo's when Spark do these.
