A Gaz from a Gaz !

GAZ-3302 Gazelle

The GAZelle is a series of light commercial vehicles made up of pickup trucks, vans and minibuses made by Russian car manufacturer GAZ. GAZelle, together with its lighter version Sobol, account for the majority of the Russian van and light truck market, has strong positions on the markets of CIS countries and rank as GAZ's most popular and successful products.

I bought this one a few years ago and have just rescued it from storage. Equipped with a "Beaver tail" recovery body which reduces the rear height of the body in order to load cars at a shallower angle , it comes pretty well detailed for a Russian pw model.
Initially bought to use the rear body on a Minichamps Ford Transit , but I never got round to it and in all honesty this looks so much like a Ford Transit that I think im just going to display it as it is.........probably with a broken down Alfa on the back

HAS TO HAVE a car on the back. In that case, it's cool.

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

That looks way better than most of the other PW recovery vehicles I've seen. I think if you found another one cheaply its still worth exploring the idea of the Minchamps transit conversion.

Are there some weird scales at play here, or is it the photography angle - that 206 looks huge compared to the Transit rip-off.
