I’m a sucker for a good car carrier. Where do I get one ?

They are several available on e-bay, usually from Spanish or French sellers. Usually between US$ 65.00 and 80.00 + shipping. I held off on buying until I found a lower than average total price.

Here is one I've been yearning for for a long time. They pop up on ebay, but the fact that they have crossover appeal with model railroaders and PRR collectors means the prices tend to be a bit inflated. I found this one at a toy show this weekend with boxes and COA for just $25.00. It took some time to negotiate the price down, but it was worth it.

Ford Cargo Update

I've added a third French Ford/Simca Cargo to my collection and I hope I am done. I really like these trucks, but would also like more variety.

Still have my Tonka's Fords, the pickup and an auto transporter. Since you love Ford's thought you might like to see an old grainy snap of my 1959 Ford milk truck. I drove it most of a summer in 1974 or 75. Sold it to a butcher that wanted it for cold storage. I think it had a small V8, but can't remember. Might try to make one out of that Altaya Ford PU.

Totally different castings. The difference in the grille is legitimate to the extent that the 2x4 and 4x4 Rangers had different grilles. And yes I agree with Jager that the North American is a better rendering. The Argentine model seems to not be as rounded as the 1:1 version.

I had an 89 Ranger with the front end that looked like the Bronco II. Nice truck but way too small.
