Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
They are several available on e-bay, usually from Spanish or French sellers. Usually between US$ 65.00 and 80.00 + shipping. I held off on buying until I found a lower than average total price.

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
Here is one I've been yearning for for a long time. They pop up on ebay, but the fact that they have crossover appeal with model railroaders and PRR collectors means the prices tend to be a bit inflated. I found this one at a toy show this weekend with boxes and COA for just $25.00. It took some time to negotiate the price down, but it was worth it.

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
They still use trucks like this today. I imagine they were more important back when Rail was king.

Cool find. Looks like a Matchbox.
For the record, this is a 1954 model, not a '56.

2019 was a strong year for Ford Trucks in my collection.

Four new F-Series trucks. The 1960 model looks a bit too big.

Three Transits acquired last year.

Some Ford big rigs. If I had bought the brown LTS first, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the blue one.

What a great group of trucks this year. There are many here I would love to own.

Ford Cargo Update
I've added a third French Ford/Simca Cargo to my collection and I hope I am done. I really like these trucks, but would also like more variety.

Of the three variants I have of this truck, this is the only one with a "Ford" badge, the other two are technically Simcas.

And just for fun, a cameo by the "other" Ford Cargo.

I think I like the green open bed version the best but they all have their charms.

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
The 1960 F-Series reminds me of my old Tonka truck from back in 1959 or so. Later, I owned a milk truck built on that chassis. Need to get one of those.

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
Still have my Tonka's Fords, the pickup and an auto transporter. Since you love Ford's thought you might like to see an old grainy snap of my 1959 Ford milk truck. I drove it most of a summer in 1974 or 75. Sold it to a butcher that wanted it for cold storage. I think it had a small V8, but can't remember. Might try to make one out of that Altaya Ford PU.IFHP wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 2:41 amI remember those Tonkas. I had a few. Are they supposed to be identical? The castings don't seem to share anything...

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
Totally different castings. The difference in the grille is legitimate to the extent that the 2x4 and 4x4 Rangers had different grilles. And yes I agree with Jager that the North American is a better rendering. The Argentine model seems to not be as rounded as the 1:1 version.

My replacement for the Argentine 4-door arrived today, so I decided to line up my Ranger models (plus the closely related Bronco II).

Re: 1:43 Ford Truck Collection
I had an 89 Ranger with the front end that looked like the Bronco II. Nice truck but way too small.
