It's The Real Thing

And a model of the Real Thing:

I bought it as much for a Christmas decoration as anything else. It'll look cool under the tree with the train.

It's made by Atlas and it can be found on Amazon for $25.

Here are some more Coca-Cola vehicles from my collection.

Solido did a Coca-Cola promotional series. I doubt that any of these are based on actual vehicles.

1931 Cadillac V-16:

1940 Dodge Pickup and Flatbed

1940 Chrysler Windsor

1950 Chevrolet Deluxe Sedan

These are not commercial vehicle but they did carry commercials for Coca-Cola

That's it for me. Any of you dudes got any Coke? (sorry, I couldn't resist). :D

Love the soda fountain. I just have one fictional Coca Cola vehicle, a Morris Minor.

Collecting Coke vehicles is a slippery slope. I guy in my local model club is a 'Coke' collector and he's drowning in hundreds of models. I did point out this fountain truck to him, but don't know if he's added it as postage to this part of the world doubles the cost.

Collecting anything Coca-Cola is a slippery slope.

It's amazing the lengths a "Coke" collector will go to add to their stash (it's addictive). It make us look sane by comparison, and that is saying something. :D

The truck/fountain looks excellent and seems to be a bargain.

A friend gave me this a few years back, complete with its accessories. I think it dates to the mid-1950's.

A good old Buddy L, nice gift! I would guess 1957 or so.

If you look on google images, it seems the rear of this model was used with 3 or 4 different cabs from the 50's through to the 60's. I can remember having a few Buddy L's growing up as a kid in the late 1960's.

I have a few of my Buddy L trucks still kicking around my Dad's basement. So many hours of fun.

The cab on the Coke truck is a '57.

Even I had a Buddy L as a kid, probably late 1960s.

I'm a little late, like everytime, but I have not discovered this topic earlier  I'm simply stunned  Although this is not "my" topic of collecting, I simply love those classic delivery and commercial vehicles. There are so amazing Art Déco (and later) designs! Those elegant, yet functional lines, those classy liveries of the staff. I've never been a "Coke addict", but to have such a delivery service around, I would drink coke for breakfast
