Matchbox Jeep CJ

Post by jinx »

Part of a series of 4x4s from Matchbox - this is quite a nice casting - the hood is removeable & the indscreen frame folds down. The Wiilys Jeep is one of those iconic vehicles.

Bigamy is having one wife too many. Monogamy is pretty much the same thing.

Odd color for a jeep, no?

I've been collecting Matchbox since I was 5 but I've never seen this Jeep before. I like the model but the pig-like color not so much. When was this model made, any idea?

The Jeep was made about 10 years ago - from a series of 6 4x4s - the others were a Dodge Power Wagon, Land Rover S1, International Scout, Ford Bronco & Chevy Blazer K5. The Jeep's odd colour is due to the photo - it is nowhere near as pink in reality!
