Post by SG143 »

This one is a transport company thats very local to me....infact its based about a 5 min drive away from my house .

Heres an artcle about the trucks theyve just bought

This is a truly fantastic model from Corgi with lots of nice detail , fantastic paint job and excellent tampo work
It will look great alongside the Merc actros and curtainside trailer that im after to go with it . I might even get round to getting up to the depot to see if Norman Irving will sign the models LE certificates for me

I really like this style of truck, we don't get them here.

Hey Gary, that's a great looking truck but why did Corgi add the extra lights mounted on the grille? Would be nice if they'd make the matching tractor as well. Have you seen one of the 3 on the road yet?

Thanks Tom ,

No idea why corgi chose to model the truck with the extra light bar , although there is the possibility that they have been added to the Volvo`s since they were purchased .

I have seen the Volvo rigid version and also the Mercedes & trailer which Corgi also make . I just added this one at Xmas as a pressie from my Mom and it is stunning ;)
