Ford panel (I think)

Post by JSB33 »

I think this is a Ford Anglia based panel truck?
I bought it because of the livery, BOAC a year or 2 ago. Not very detailed as its by Oxford Diecast.

Yes Jeff - that is a Ford Anglia Van - in production from 1959-68, when it was replaced by the Mk I Escort.

As for the BOAC livery of a year or 2 ago......BOAC & BEA merged to form British Airwaysin the early '70s!

Oxford diecast produce some N scale (1:148) vehicles. I assume it's all part of the same company. I believe they are some of the best available in that size. This rather takes my fancy. The Anglia is pretty cool BTW Jeff!

Dave, I do believe its the same company. I think their 1:43 offering are directed more torward the RR guys than diecast collectors.
I remember this one was dirt cheap.
