Something different than what I usually do. THis little mini-diorama was inspired by a very small German Advent calendar (I didn't realize how small it was when I ordered it).

Here are photos from my full-size 2017 Holiday Village diorama. This year, I found a bunch of Dept 56 "Dickens Village" buildings, which was great because I'd been looking at many of these buildings on e-bay for a while, thinking about a English village theme.

Here is a smaller version, featuring a collection of road rally cars -- maybe this village square is serving as a staging area for a mid-winter rally?

Wonderful photos as usual Michael - I'm not sure if the Australian Fairmont GXL would know how to handle snow at Christmas time though :lol:
