I had a couple of those 1:12 GT40's go thru my hands for others, never had one for myself because they take so much room.

I thought you would have kicked the kids out to make room for one of those Jeff

I had a 1:12 Cobra for a couple years and half of the time I was eyeing up the space it took.
Truth be told, a big reason my collecting has come to a screeching halt is that I have no room left. I actually think I am over capacity.
Its a sickening feeling not to be able to buy anything because I don't have a place for it as I swore long ago that I would not ever buy a "buy and throw it in a closet" type of collector. If I can't display it I will not buy it.

Yes, I feel your pain. I have started taking books off my IKEA bookshelves to make room for a just few more models. I have managed to sell about 40 models on eBay, but I had already taken those off the shelves – so that action is not freeing up new space.

I've long given up on constraining my collection to one single room. Now I'm up to three and that will be four soon when I get my wc displays (not a typo) mounted on the walls. It's not a large room, but I can show at least 100 more models, that will make the brief stays there more pleasant.

For that kind of commitment maybe there should be the title ULTRA COLLECTOR.

'single guy' should suffice.

Well, that simplifies things. A lot.
Sorry, no special title for you then.

Some people's homes have models in the bedroom, but maybe that's a bit off topic

I have many models on "auxiliary" display in my "man cave" which is at one one end of our large laundry room.
