My takeaway from browsing the pages is that Schuco have really stepped up their Porsche game. If I were in the market for a “non-S” 993 Turbo, theirs is worth getting over a Make Up if you're not particular about color, because it looks 90% as good for 20% of the price, and Make Up's remaining 10% aren't worth that much. Maybe if Schuco also make the S, I can save a couple hundred bucks...

Schuco Porsches are a great buy. Not sure why but they appear many times as sale items (which is good for us collectors I guess :D ).
Proportions are correct, they are beautifully detailed. And above all, their quality control seems consistent. None of the Schuco models I own have any traces of glue, misassembled or sloppy attached parts (which I can't say for some other middle- to high-end manufacturers).

I don't consider Schucos worth 150% of Spark models though, which is their RRP.

You are absolutely right, originally they are way overpriced. So it's best to wait for the sales.
