David MG's unique 1:1 MG's (much larger than 1/18th)

Post by stewil » Sat Mar 10, 2018 8:36 pm

Hi David,
Saw some cars today at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance that I thought you might enjoy seeing.
This one reminded me of you for some unknown reason ?????? (In Celebration :D of your name?)

Then I saw this one, a lovely

hexagonally instrumented apex of Morris Garages design, the TF.

Later I glimpsed this little sweetheart that I think might also

just take your breath away.

A bit of history always helps

as does a couple more

I hope you enjoyed the show.

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

Hi Steve,

I see a fellow S143 man was in Amelia Island too? The endless stream of concours quality Auburns, Cords, Rolls-Royces etc are the stuff of dreams!

My Dad and I actually just went for the 'Cars & Coffee' this year but shot quite a bit of footage of the cars you've shown and many others as they exited the gate after 5:00 PM. Would love to see more cars from your end of the show? I'll post some video if I can figure a way to do it?

This really is a jewel of an event :) BB
